Wausau ADA Pavers are available in twelve standard colors and five standard patterns. Custom colors available. ADA pavers are also available with a flat finish. ADA Pavers are State of California Title 24 compliant. Standard thickness is 2” to 2 3/4”.

Since the enactment of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) it has become mandatory to install a detectable warning area 36” wide between all walking surfaces and the adjoining vehicular drive areas that are not separated by “curb, railings, or other elements.” In accordance with ADA standards 4.29.2 these detectable area will have raised Truncated Domes. The dome should have a nominal size of .9” base diameter, a height of nominal .2” and a center to center spacing of nominal 2.35”. Along with the nominal sizing the material must contrast with the surrounding material either “light on dark or dark on light.” To help meet your ADA need Wausau Tile offers a large selection of Detectable Warning units.
